Vampires Suck: A Parody of the Twilight Movies!

The “Twilight” movies were really in-demand and the most-watched vampire movies as of today. Fans and movie fanatics can’t resist to watch it even though movie tickets today were so expensive! One with another, the so-called “Twilight Saga” or the series of “Twilight” movies hit the world!

As proof of being a huge hit, many memorabilia of this vampire movie scattered in the internet, print media like in the magazines, fashions and posters, and even confidential things like mugs, notebooks, and t-shirts were scattered in the different stores. What more, the original books of “Twilight” eventually increased their prices!

Since everybody is asking for more “Twilight” saga, did you know that a fastidious movie, a comedy film to be specific has been made?! Yup, this is the movie spoof or the parody of the “Twilight” movies. And this movie is called “Vampires Suck”! Not more than were some of the photos taken from the said movie:

Don’t worry ‘coz this movie will hit the US theaters on August 18 and Manila theaters on September 1, 2010. This movie is stars with Matt Lanter, Chris Riggi, Jenn Proske, and Ken Jeong!

If in the original “Twilight” movies, Bella is the lead female star, well in this movie parody, it is Becca, an nervous, non-vampire teen, who is torn between two boys! Of course these two boys will be the impostors of Edward and Jacob!

Well, well, well…I will indeed grab a copy of it when it is already launched here in Manila! In any form, I will indeed have it! Hehehe…! “Twilight”, “New Moon”, “Eclipse”, and “Breaking Dawn” were all merged in this one huge comedy movie! LOL! C”,)

FALMOUTH – A man accused of butchery a Bourne woman in a car crash last summer was arrested last week for violating his probation by getting behind the wheel again.

Jonathan Muir, 23, turned himself in to Falmouth police last Thursday on the information of his attorney, Robert Nolan, according to court records.

“His license was revoked, yet he was driving,” said Diane Flynn, the grandmother of Cassandra Flynn-Rakos, the woman killed in last summer’s crash. “It’s trying for the family to know why the courts are allowing this.”

The warrant was issued last week with a next-door neighbor of the Muir family on Blacksmith Shop Road, David Armour, told prosecutors he had seen Muir driving down the street on several occasions.

According to Nolan, Muir didn’t intentionally violate his probation. He was simply working on the brakes of his grandfather’s truck and drove about 300 feet down the road to test them out.

“I don’t reckon it dawned on Jonathan that this was a violation of his probation,” Nolan said. “I know driving is driving, but it isn’t like he was out joyriding around town.”

But getting behind the wheel at all is a direct violation of Muir’s pre-trial probation, which also requires that he remain alcohol-free and submit to random alcohol screenings, according to court records.

Authorities Looking to Identify Route 67 …

Authorities are currently trying to identify the victim of a fatal pedestrian accident on State Send 67 near Bradley Avenue.

The victim was described as a male, probably between 25 and 30 years ancient.

According to reports, the pedestrian accident occurred at about 3:30 am, Sunday when the victim was struck by a Nissan Murano in the southbound lane of the highway.

The victim was then thrown onto the northbound lanes by the collision where he was struck several more vehicles.

He was pronounced dead on the scene.

My husband Hugh, Night #38 …

Ok, today was a MUCH BETTER DAY!! I met the ambulance who transported Hugh to his orthopedic general practitioner’s office, by the side of with Hugh’s physical therapist (Thank you Stephanie!). Dr. Zinar, who is one of the top surgeons, saw Hugh and said..”I see you are still alive”. I just burst into laughter. Then he said, “I heard before your accident you spar with an American accent”. Again, hysterical laughs!!!!!!!! Anyhow, fantastic office, fantastic doctor and wonderful staff (THANK YOU T.G). ;)

Dr. Zinar said, Hugh can place 100% consequence bearing on his aptly arm/shoulder! OH MY GOSH! This means, he can start getting strength and then……. BED TO WHEELCHAIR, WHEELCHAIR TO BED transfers, which means THE SOONER HUGH CAN BE HOME! Can you see how excited I am?

Hugh can start 50% consequence bearing on each leg at a time, not sure what this means, but hey, I am pleased with the 100% consequence bearing on his aptly arm .. THANK YOU GOD!

I finally took a few hours for myself today. I ran errands went home, had lunch with Samantha, and had a 2 hour nap! Then I went up the the hospital to see Hugh around 3:45 and stayed until 7:30.

I feel excellent. I am going to work on a new schedule for myself, and Hugh likes this too. I need to do this for myself.

ONE MORE STEP closer to home sweety!!! ONE MORE STEP! As Melissa said.. no, 10 MORE STEPS! Yay! You zonked out on my at 7:30 once you were place back into bed. You had a long day, but a excellent day. YOU KEEP FIGHTING and I mean it. I want you home now!

We even talked about dinner tomorrow night. You are craving Indian food, and you will get Indian food darling! I am here to spoil you rotten, and don’t you forget it.

Kenny Elmore (the author of One Second) called you and got to speak to you. I even spar to his lovely wife Wendy. We have A LOT in ordinary. I reckon she will be a excellent support for me.

Rush sweety and get better. I need you, I want you home. Delight rush…. I like you forever………..

Have you heard of “vlog hauls”? My sister first mentioned this genre to me back in April, and I could not know why anyone would be interested in making a YouTube video about corridors. She then patiently spelled it for me and clarified that it is basically a recording of the items one buys. An individual comes home with a long day of shopping and then she (I am going to use “she”, as I saw zero “he” videos on YouTube) proceeds to spectacle each item to the viewer and narrate in the style of a home shopping network host.

I completely forgot about/blocked this out until Tuesday night when M was reading and subsequently watching an article on Huffington Post about infomercial bloopers (which are hilarious, by the way). Even as he was on the website, I saw the original Huffington Post haul article which inspired my sister’s commentary. I watched my first haul video, and I do not reckon I will ever be the same.

The video inspired a weird mix of terror and fascination. On one hand, casual conversations about recent buys happen. Just today I luckily pointed out my new shoes to a colleague – nothing really special, aptly? But something about making a huge buy and then showing each item for thousands of anonymous listeners made me feel really uncomfortable about capitalism and consumption. Even as I say this, I also have to acknowledge the reason I started this very blog was to post about fashion and clothing and whatnot. I get a sense that some of the video posters buy things simply to spectacle them, but again, I imagine many fashion bloggers also reckon of the consultation and ensuing photos when they are choosing their daily outfit. So really, is a haul video any different than a community of fashion blogger posting daily outfit photos?

I have been contemplating consumption (as in the purchasing of goods, not tuberculosis) quite a bit lately, mostly as a result of all of the traveling I have been doing. I have come to the conclusion that I would rather have experiences than “stuff”; but as a person who once tried really hard to never wear the same outfit twice I now and again still get the impulse to buy, buy, buy. Kendi of Kendi Everyday posted a excellent entry a week or two ago where she contemplated similar thoughts, and rather than re-hash it all I would encourage you to read it here. As long as we have our vital needs covered – food, shelter, clothing – there is no need to go overboard, aptly? Aptly? Is there really a need for any of this, or must I just relax and let the fundamentals of our economy roll?

At any rate, I can be grateful for fashion blogs because you at smallest amount get to witness some creativity and confidential style with how people place their fashion together. Anyone can buy crap from a mall, but I like to see how it is place together. I judge fashion is an art form; purchasing a bunch of stuff is not. That being said, I still cannot stop watching them. It is like a car crash on capitalism road. My favorite material mama: DulceCandy87. Sit back and allow the wave of confusion wash over you.
